StressFree Bookkeepng is a service designed to change the common perceptions (and realities!) of bookkeeping and accountancy. Instead of mountains of numbers, how about imagining a real, snow-swept mountain with you skiing on it while others worry about the accounts? Instead of a hunched aching back, how about a fitness session every now and then, after you’ve mailed your tables to our headquarters? Instead of numbers for dinner, how about a real meal in the company of your family? We take the load off you so that you can enjoy your quality time. Once you have enjoyed it, we would be more than happy to hear about it and this is one of the reasons why we created this StressFree Bookkeeping Blog.
We aim to make our StressFree Bookkeeping Blog as interactive as possible. We do not wish for a marketing dialogue, but rather a constructive cooperation, based on a regular interaction between our clients and us. This is why we would highly appreciate it if you took some time to contribute to this blog, review our service and the difference it made to you, or else provide us with constructive StressFree criticism and feedback.
Even though our main goal is to take the load of bookkeeping and accountancy from you, StressFree Bookkeeping is more than that. We also aim to provide you with information that is most valuable for small businesses, both in terms of updates on what is happening and professional consultancy. Always up-to-date, we will push for new government regulations and other changes that may affect your business and we will make sense of it to serve you better and increase your numbers.
StressFree Bookkeeping is here to inspire you. You would not expect it from a bookkeeping and accountancy service, would you? This is because we aim not only to keep but to develop your books and to contribute to your success. And what’s a better contribution to success than true inspiration? On this StressFree Bookkeeping Blog, we will post stories of successful businesses. We firmly believe that efficient bookkeeping and accountancy through the use of Xero is an invaluable ingredient of many success stories of small businesses and we will report on the positive changes we make to them regularly.
StressFree Bookkeeping is based in Hampshire however we firmly believe, with the developments of technology, (Xero demonstrates this) we can service clients across the country to an extremely high level. You can keep in touch with StressFree Bookkeeping by either subscribing to our RSS feed, following us on Twitter or becoming a fan on Facebook.

We’re often asked about the bookkeeper accountant relationship. Generally we see the two offering different services and by working together the client gets the best of both worlds. Australian based Toni McCulloch from Accounting North and Briohny de Vere of Bees Knees Bookkeeping are case in point that collaboration works. For Toni the best outcome is achieved when the incoming information her accounting practice receives is accurate and fully reconciled. “This gives us the scope to focus the real issues at hand for the clients such as...

If you own your own business you’ll know that it burns cash daily and you need to know how to fund this. But you should also be thinking about the equity side of your business too. Highly successful entrepreneurs live more in their balance sheet than their Profit and Loss. The P&L is a short-term view of the operating status of the business. The balance sheet tells you where the future is and how to resource the business for growth. Pre-empting where your cashflow will be 6 to 12 months out is critical.
