Updating clouds

This is an extract someone said to me while we were discussing Xero. They are indeed correct, software developments have changed dramatically over the last five years. A lot of software created five year ago now is completely out of date. So is Xero really old software?
No of course it is not out of date technology – we wouldn’t be using otherwise! Xero is consequently evolving, introducing new features at no additional cost and no upgrade needed. This is possible because Xero is developed in what is known as ‘the cloud’, so like other cloud technologies, updates happen automatically, and in the case of Xero very frequently. Just in the last couple of months Xero has introduced a payroll feature into its package, scanned in copies of receipts and invoices can be attached and yet more automatic bank feeds to banks have been created. For a full list just have a look at their blog.
